Petal and Carla play a round of chess and have a deep conversation.

"Ya, I happened to hear what Hayden said to you, that was the utmost cruel." Petal said, studying the board.
"I couldn't believe it but I also could, you know."
"Ya, it's so like him." She made her move, "check mate."
"Dammit." Carla rubbed her chin, preparing to make her move.
"I should tell you a secret." Petal lowered her voice and looked around the room.
Hayden is heading upstairs and Anahi went out to the pool. The room was empty, now just the two of you.
"Go ahead." Carla said nervously.
Petal leaned in and lowered her voice some more. "I know the other reason Hayden picks on you."
"What is it?"
"You oddly resemble the Mayor's daughter."
"I DO?!" Carla almost screamed, dropping her chess piece onto the floor.
"You just have black hair, the Mayor's daughter was blonde, other than that the resemblance is uncanny."
Carla reached down and picked up the fallen piece, "but then why does he lash out at me like that?."
"Think about it, she called the police on him. She turned him in, she helped bring him here."
"That's true...."
Petal shakes her head. "He feels betrayed, yet his heart still ablaze.....just be careful."
