Joey's legs get sore from standing, he needs to think of something quick.
--------------------------------------------------------
"It's been two hours." He huffs and puffs, kneeling over and rubbing his sore knees.
He looks up into the darkness and feels a presence.
"Who's there?" His voice bellowed.
"It's just me." Petal called out quietly.
"Hello Petal."
"Hello Joey." She giggled, "I applaud you."
"Thank you."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
She skipped through the dark and down the hall to her room.
He was alone once again, "what am I gunna do the rest of the night?"
That's when it hit him. He turned and slowly opened Carla's bedroom door, closing it behind him.
The light through the window guided him to the bed, where he sat on the end.
He could comfortably sit now and watch her the best he could.
"Throw your worries out the window, I'm not going anywhere."
