Asylum Challenge #117: Opening Up.

It's time, Joey is ready to open up to Carla.

----------------------------

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Carla asks, turning to face him.

"Well, I have been holding onto something for a while now." Joey started.

"You shouldn't hold onto stuff but I do understand it."

"Ya, I know it's bad to hang on to how I'm feeling so I'm here now, ready to talk."

"Okay, go ahead." She nodded, reassuringly.

He took a deep nervous sigh, his face became pink. "Well, I have feelings for you Carla, like real feelings. I was hiding from myself and how I felt because of what happened to me, what landed me here." He explained.

She sat there rather shocked.

"Sorry, I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship, you are my best friend after all." Joey said, clenching his teeth.

Carla held her hand to her face, giggling uncontrollably.

"What?!" He asked, laughing nervously.

"That's a lot to process but I'm extremely flattered."

"So, you don't feel the same?" He asked.

"I didn't say that."

She took him by the hand and they walked out onto the balcony.

"Then what's on your mind hun?"

She climbed over the balcony and beckoned him with her finger, so he followed suite; climbing over the balcony.

They shimmed along the ledge to the window.

"I don't understand what's g-"

"I wanna let my body do the initial talking, then we can sit down and chat it out." She speaks softly.

Once she finished, the two of them climbed back over the balcony and hand in hand they went sneaking down the stairs and out the front door. They rushed off around the asylum to the back, where they could be truly alone. (Yes she's only given him head up until this point. Since they do this autonomously, I have had no control over what they do.)

"You drive me wild Carla." Joey says.

She giggles, looking up at him with her bright brown eyes, "You drive me wilder."
