Asylum Challenge #61: Sick Of His Shit.

Petal runs down the stairs and into the common room to talk to Carla.

----------------------------------------

"Hayden's out." Petal said, huffing and puffing. She felt out of shape, that she should swim laps to build up her stamina.

"He is?!" Carla asked, clenching her teeth.

Petal nodded, picking up a chess piece, "indeed."

"How do you know? I swear I just saw him in solitary this morning."

"He greeted me not even 10 minutes ago, he met me at the top of the stairs." She explained.

"Oh fucking great." Carla sighed, "check mate."

"Ya, he tried to proposition me again, this time he was more douchebag about it."

"Really? You poor girl."

"Thanks. I said over my dead body, twice."

They both shared a good laugh.

"I don't know what I'm going to do, I'm sick of his shit." Carla pouted, lost in thought.

"So am I but I feel for you even more." Petal reached out her hand and rested it on Carla's.

Their eyes met and they exchanged warm smiles.

"We can get through this together."

"I'm glad I have you by my side, as long as you don't try to seduce me."

"What?!" Petal asked, gasping. She pulled her hand away quick and rested them nervously in her lap.

"I heard."

"Good god, did everybody?!"

"No but I have a feeling Hayden's got a big mouth."

"True, I mean I'm not ashamed, I just didn't want my business everywhere."

"It's the asylum, there's no such thing as hush hush."
