They are finally alone and it was time for Petal to have this serious talk with Darwin, though it seems things really have hit the fan.

"Hey Darwin, I wanted to talk to you about Hayden, I'm worried about his mental well-being regarding his feelings for Carla."
"You want me to talk to him huh?"
"Could you?" She asked, batting her lashes.
"Do you like him?"
"Why do people keep asking me that?!" She asks, gasping.
"Never mind then......it doesn't matter, I have to talk to him anyway."
"It seems so,"She says sighing, "what the fuck happened?!"
"The park was a bad bad idea....." Darwin says, shaking his head.
"I had not seen Hayden that angry before......did Joey do something again?!"
"He does have a habit of being spiteful but it wasn't what he said....it's what he did that Hayden saw." He explained.
Petal's mouth fell open, "he didn't see what I think he saw did he?!"
He just shook his head, "I'm afraid so."
"That's awful, I feel so bad for Hayden right now."
"Ya...I kinda do too but it was his choice to walk in there and what he happened to see sure was an accident but he risked it all himself."
"They shouldn't be doing that in public or in the bathroom."
"They can and they did."
Petal scoffed, "you're right but I don't like how much it's upsetting Hayden."
"Petal.......do you wanna tell me something?"
"I don't love him Dar, I promise....I just have been in his shoes once before."
"For a mad scientist you're a little too thin-skinned and emotional." Darwin said.
"That's rude."
"You know I'm right."
"Fine...but will you talk to him soon then.....? I'm scared this whole thing just got 10 times worse." She whined.
"I'll see what I can do."
