Carla returns from her meeting, showing off her nice new dress to Joey; it gives them a chance to talk about the future.

"You look lovely sweetheart." He says beaming, looking up at her.
"Thank you." She smiles weakly.
"Sit, let's have lunch."
She takes a seat and they eat a few minutes in silence.
"So, what did the Warden say?" He asks, taking another bite of his sandwich.
"Well good news and bad news, which one do you want first?"
He sighs, "the bad news."
"Well bad news, we will have the baby taken from us."
"And the good news?"
"If I finish my aspirations and leave here before they turn 3, we can have them back."
"Wait we? You want a future with me?" He asks, shocked.
"Why wouldn't I? I love you."
"I love you too...."His eyes tear up, "I want a future with you too Carla."
"Oh I kinda lied to the Warden and told her we were already a couple."She confessed.
"You did?"
"Ya....sorry if I shouldn't have."
"Well no.....it's fine." He takes her hands in his, "will you be my girlfriend?"
