"OH CARLA! Come it sweetie!!" She cries out, pulling her inside.

"Thank you Mrs. Newell."
"Come here for a hug too my wonderful daughter!" She starts to cry, pulling Carla in for a hug.
"Are you two ready to meet Alisha all grown up?" She asks, pulling from their embrace.
They both take deep breaths, "ready as we'll ever be."
"Alright, I'll be right back." She beams, leaving the room.
A few minutes pass and the door opens, out comes Alisha, now 3 years old.
"Alisha sweetie, meet your mommy and daddy." She pats her on the back.
"Mommy?" Alisha asks, raising a brow.
"That's right sweetie, I'm your mommy, I don't think you'd remember me." She says nervously, feeling a pit in her throat.
"MOMMY!" Alisha let's out a happy cry, reaching out to be held.

"Don't cry mommy, I love you."
"I love you too baby!" She cries even harder.
Joey's eyes soaked with tears as well, he's so happy.
"Oh, you wanna meet your daddy?" Carla asks, smiling.
"Daddy?" She asks, the ut most curious.
"Ya, this is your daddy." They turn to face Joey.
"Daddy!" Alisha says excitedly, reaching out her arms.
"Hi sweetie!" He beams, taking her in his arms.
"Don't cry too daddy, I love you." Alisha coos.
"I'm not crying, I'm leaking." He says, laughing and wiping his eyes.
"I'm so happy this turned out well." Carla admits, sitting with her mother on the couch.
"Were you worried?" She asked.
"Ya, very worried."
"Well it's okay now, we are all together and can be a family."
