Mom's Gone Crazy #31: Genji.

Anne had met Genji the mailman and they were hitting it off well.

A few years had gone by and Anne spent her days in the house, she was mourning of course but her mind and heart were now at ease. She got out what she needed to say and did what she needed to do.

This evening Anne was out for for a drink, enjoying alone time from her girls. She took a seat at the bar, when a man sat next to her. She tried not to gawk, looking over at him. She thought he was rather attractive, they made eye contact.

"Hey, you're my mailman." She said, gasping. She had not recognized him in his casual wear.

"Oh I remember you, I'm Genji." He reached out his hand.

"I'm Anne, lovely meeting you outside of work." She said, shaking it.

"It is lovely huh? What you drinking?" 

"I'm having a ridgeport." 

"I'll take one too." He beams, calling over the bartender.

The two of them enjoy their drinks, chatting and getting to know one another. 

Throughout the evening Genji and Anne began to flirt and get comfortable.

"I don't know if this is forward but I'd like to go on a date sometime." Genji says, leaning in and whispering in her ear.

She giggled drunkenly, "that would be great."

They exchanged numbers and called it a night, going their separate ways.
