Kira has had some time apart from Tiana but she's ready to see her again.

She texts Tiana and says she's not ready to give up on them and wants to talk, if Tiana is finally ready.
Tiana agrees to come over.
An hour passes and Kira spent the whole time pacing back and forth in the kitchen.
Tiana shows up and they share a warm embrace. It felt really good to hold each other again, time almost stood still and it felt amazing.
Naomi sits at the table, trying to do her homework and have a snack. She's trying to be as quiet and invisible as she can, not to ruin the moment.
"Can you give us some privacy?" Kira asks, turning to her.
"Oh sure, I'll go and let you two talk." Naomi says laughing, taking her book and plate with her to the other room.
Tiana and Kira take a seat on the couch.
"So, I'm ready to come clean about what's been going on with me." Tiana says, sighing.
"Are you sure?" Kira asks.
"Yes, I owe you that."
"You don't, you don't owe me anything, I'm sorry I had been so harsh on you lately."
"NO, I do owe you an explanation, I can't just do that to you and I realize that now."
"Alright, go ahead."
"I've been battling with my heart and my head and my worries."
"About what?" Kira asks, curling in her lips.
"I don't know how to tell my parents I'm a lesbian." Tiana explains, sighing.
"I'm so sorry Tiana, I can't imagine what that's like."
"It's tough, I'm scared."
"Well we don't have to rush anything." Kira says, putting her arm around her.
"I know but I can't put this strain on us forever."
"Well everything will turn out as it should and I will be here for you when it does."
