A few nights pass and she had not heard anything from Dominic, she decides to call Arturo and ask for advice.

"Hey Anne, what's up?" Arturo asks, answering the phone.
"Hey, I need some advice."
"Go ahead, what can I help you with?"
She tells him what's going on with Dominic.
"Well just be upfront with him girl, invite him back over and ask him if he sees a future with you."
"Good idea, it's been a few days and I think he's had the time to think about it."
"Best of luck."
"Thanks."
Anne invites Dominic back over, she wants to talk to him again and oddly enough he's ready to and will be there in an hour.
Dominic shows up and they take to the living room to chat.
"So, I think we both have had time to think." Anne says, breaking the tension.
"I think so too." He nods.
"So, I really want to know.....do you see a future with me?"
"To be honest, I don't."
"Oh, okay." She curls in her lips.
"I would still like to be friends with benefits, if that's okay with you? I mean I can give you time and space to think about it, as you have given me."
Anne takes a sigh, "I mean I can't say I'm not bummed out BUT I would gladly still like to hang onto what we have had."
"Good, I'm glad." He smiles warmly.
She musters up the strength to push her slight frown into a smile.
