Naomi leaves the office and meets her sister at the dining table.

"So have you thought about work?" Kira asks, taking a bite of her mac and cheese.

"Yes, have you?" Naomi asks, biting her lip.

"Oh yes, my classmate Jodie might have a babysitting job for me. I hope she can get me an interview soon, so mom's not on our cases long." She laughs.

"I agree but that's good. For me, my one friend Amber might get me an interview at her job. She works at the 24 hour GroceryVille just on the outskirts of town."

"Good to hear it sis!"

"Ya, I'm hopeful."

"Me too."

Naomi clenches her teeth, unable to tell her sister the truth; she goes off into the kitchen.
