Anne comes home and tells her daughter she pulled her back trying to twerk for money.

"Jesus Christ mom, be more careful." Naomi says laughing.

"I know, I'm getting old." Anne sighs.

"Shhhh stop bringing it up, maybe you just should've stretched?"

"Oh ya, I didn't do that." She says, smiling awkwardly. "So how was your day?"

Naomi was caught off guard, that her mom would ask her. "Good, Kira and I both have job interviews."

"Great to hear that!" Anne beams, genuinely happy for them.

Naomi goes off to the kitchen and Kira comes into the room.

"I heard about your job interview sweetie." Anne says getting up from the couch.

"Ya, I'm excited." Kira says, smiling nervously.

"You got this, best of luck!"

"Thanks mom! I think so too."

"I also heard you've been doing great in school, I want to congratulate you."

"Really mom?" She asked, her face lit up.

"Really."
Kira was relieved her mom finally took some care and notice in what she was doing.
