Mom's Gone Crazy #167: The Family Let Down.

Kira finds new makeup palettes in the bathroom.

"Sis! Come here a second!" Kira calls out, opening the bathroom door.

Naomi pops her head in, "What's up?"

"You bought new makeup palettes?" 

"Ya, why?"

"How can you afford THESE?! We need to save to move remember what mom s-"

"I know, I make a fuckton of money though. I got a pay raise AND now work 6 days a week." Naomi explained, smiling ear to ear.

"Hm, fair enough...as long as you're still saving to go." Kira groans.

"I am."

Naomi leaves the bathroom and Kira stands there a moment. She knows she needs to ask for more hours or a pay raise or maybe even a second job.

She doesn't want to be the family let down, as her mom has always seen her. She wants her mom to be proud and she knows once her mom hears Naomi is making more than her, she will need to step up her game. She better do something and quick.
