Kira hears mom crying in her room and comes in to find her under the covers.

"What's wrong mom? Is it Saanvi?" She asks, standing before the bed.
"No, it's your sister."
"What happened?!" Kira's heart drops, in fear of what her mom will say now.
"She took a stripping job, A STRIPPING JOB KIRA."
Kira grew wide-eyed not saying anything.
"I've failed you both."
"What did you say to her mom?"
"I beat her and I told her when she can afford to get out, she has to get out right away." Anne explains.
She gasps, "mom how could you put your hands on her?"
"I know, I'm more angry with myself than I am with her, even if it doesn't' look like that right now."
"You're damn right about that."
