Carla is sitting alone for brunch, when Hayden decides to join her.

"What do you want?" She asks sternly, shoveling salad into her mouth.
Hayden sits there, not saying a word.
They both sit there in silence, Carla has now lost her appetite. Hayden though continues to takes bites out of his sandwich, not even stealing a glance.
Once Hayden finishes his food, he gets up from the table and leaves the room.
She slowly stabs at the lettuce, resting her face in her hand and staring down into the bowl.
Gino approaches, "mind if I sit here?"
"No I don't mind." Carla shrugs.
He pulls up a seat, their eyes meet and they exchange weak smiles.
"How are you?" She asks.
"Don't worry about him." Gino says, as he ignores her idle chit chat.
"Sorry?"
"Hayden, he's trying to get under your skin."
"It's working." She sighs, admitting it.
There was a moment of almost silence, just the sounds of chewing could be heard.
"So....what is it really?" Gino asks.
"What is what?"
"Are you really pissed off at him or do you like him?"
"I-"
"Don't answer me.....answer yourself." He pulls up from the table and leans in.
"Gino..." She looks up at him slightly uncomfortable.
"Just......be careful."
