Joey accidentally walks in on Carla taking a shower, though she doesn't seem to mind, why?

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry Carla!" Joey cries out, covering his face with his plate. "I didn't know you were about to run the shower."
"It's fine." She hums, turning on the tap.
"Are you sure?" He asks, taken aback.
"Go ahead."
Joey washes his plate in the sink, not-so-secretly wishing there was a mirror to watch her in. "I won't peek."
"Thank you."
"So, I heard the gossip going around the asylum."
"There's no gossip." She snapped, curling in her lips.
"He pisses everybody off in some way, try and let it go." Joey explains.
"Oh boy I'm fucking trying." Carla sighs, scrubbing her face.
"I don't think he should be stressing you out, you two don't even know each other, right?"
"Right. He just knows OF me."
"Hm, I heard."
"Oh my god, do you all talk talk talk in here?" Carla snaps again.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"It's fine, I'm sorry to." Carla says, stepping out of the shower, grabbing a towel to wrap herself in.
Joey turns to face her, "well if this means anything, I still like you despite the things you've done."
Her eyes widened, "That actually means a whole lot.........thank you."
