Joey calls Gino and Darwin to the common room for a chat.

"So I needed someone to talk to and I thought I would ask you two, I need it to not be a woman I get advice from."
"I hear you dude, having male insight is important, you don't wanna let the females get to you." Darwin said.
"So what's on your mind?" Gino asked.
"I had spoken to Hayden."
"Uh oh...." Darwin curled in his lips, worried.
"He said I was getting soft, letting these females in and shit."
"I don't think that makes you soft." Gino said.
"You don't?"
"No, you have struggled though so it's not wise but I don't think you're going soft. You have no reason to block out ALL the females, you have been hurt but these women are worth what you have to offer and not all the distrust." Darwin explained.
"I know I just, I wanted to-"
"You wanted to be hard ass forever?" Gino asked.
"Ya, I did."Joey admitted.
"You don't gotta be, these women in here need your help and you have all the right to help them. Deep down you wanna help them."
"Gino's right, you also know what Hayden's capable of, if you won't save them who will?"
"Maybe they are capable of taking care of themselves though, they don't NEED me."
"Carla asked for YOUR help, not my help, not Gino's help....YOUR HELP." Darwin said.
"Ya, you obviously mean something and that makes you a man not soft."
"Thanks a lot guys."
"You need to come clean with how you feel about Carla too, if not to her....to yourself, you owe yourself that. I have seen the way you look at her, the lengths you go to for her." Darin observed.
"We also heard you've gotten back into.....you know, because of her."
Joey turned red in the face, "ya I have."
"Good for you man!" Darwin said, patting him on the back.
"I guess."
"So now you know what to do, right?"
"Yes, thanks again."
